Past Passive is used to express that something was made or had something done to it in the past. To create this tense, put the past form of the To Be verb with the Past Participle of the verb.

* The word by is usually in a past passive sentence to identify what is doing the action to the subject.

         Examples: This car was made in Germany.   My car was made by Germans.
